Description

This Strawberry Baked Oatmeal is a satisfying and easy sweet breakfast. It's made with wholesome and nutritious ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 1/4 cups milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup 0% fat plain greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking dish and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Pour the wet ingredient mixture over the dry ingredient mixture. Stir to combine. Gently fold in the strawberries.
  4. Pour the oatmeal mixture into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden and set. Serve warm.
