Description
Spinach Caprese Salad is a flavor-packed twist on the traditional caprese salad. Filled with spinach, basil, and cherry tomatoes, it's simple and delicious!
Ingredients

- 2 cups baby spinach
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
- 4 ounces small mozzarella balls (ciliegine), halved
- 1/4 cup basil leaves, sliced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1-2 teaspoons balsamic glaze
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, toss together the spinach, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. Drizzle with olive oil. Season with sea salt and pepper, to taste. Toss one more time.
- Place on a serving plate or in a bowl. Drizzle with balsamic glaze. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
You can use multi-colored or red cherry tomatoes.
If you can't find small mozzarella balls, you can buy a large one and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
