Description

This Cherry Almond Smoothie Bowl is a quick and easy breakfast or snack. It's made using frozen cherries, so you can make it any time of year! Topped with more cherries, coconut, chocolate, and sliced almonds - it's definitely a perfect way to start your day.

Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 cup frozen cherries (I like Wyman's)
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 3 tablespoons 0% fat plain greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup

Toppings

  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds
  • 1 tablespoon chopped dark chocolate
  • fresh or thawed frozen cherries

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, add the frozen cherries, almond milk, greek yogurt, and maple syrup. Blend until smooth. Pour into a bowl.
  2. Top with shredded coconut, sliced almonds, chocolate, and cherries.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy.
