Description
These classic BLT Sliders are the perfect appetizer or dinner. Hawaiian rolls loaded with juicy tomatoes, crispy bacon, and creamy mayo always hits the spot!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (12 count) package Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 5 ounce crispy green leaf lettuce
- 2-3 small, ripe tomatoes, cut into 12 slices
- 12 ounces bacon, cooked
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise with a serrated knife to create a top and bottom for the sandwiches. Leave them connected together so you’ll have 2 slabs. Place the slabs, cut side up, on a large baking sheet. Bake for 6-8 minutes until lightly toasted.
- Spread the mayonnaise on the cut side of both slabs. Place the bottom slab on a large cutting board. Layer the lettuce, tomato slices, and bacon. Place the top slab on top. Cut the sandwiches along the seams using the serrated knife to create 12 sliders.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Toasting the rolls is optional but highly recommended!
When layering the BLT ingredients, be sure the juicy tomatoes are not touching the bread. Layer the lettuce on the bottom and the bacon on top, leaving the tomatoes in the middle. This will prevent the bread from getting soggy.
These are best served immediately, but if you have leftovers, refrigerate them in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
