Description

These Prosciutto Melon Skewers are the perfect combination of sweet and salty, and they’re a great party appetizer. Make them in just 15 minutes with only 5 ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ medium cantaloupe, peeled, seeded and cut into (1-inch) cubes

  • 4 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto, torn into 20 pieces

  • 20 fresh basil leaves

  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella (ciliegine sized), drained

  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Thread a cantaloupe cube, a piece of prosciutto, basil leaf, and mozzarella ball onto each skewer.
  2. Arrange on a serving plate and drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving.
  3. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

These skewers are best served the same day, but you can assemble them a few hours in advance. Cover tightly and refrigerate until you’re ready to serve.

Wait to drizzle the balsamic glaze until right before serving so the skewers stay fresh and don’t get soggy.
