Description

This homemade Everything Bagel Hummus is easy to make, super creamy, and filled with flavor. You just need a handful of ingredients and a food processor or blender.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3-4 tablespoons sparkling water
  • 1 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning, plus more for topping
  • sea salt, if needed

Instructions

  1. Place the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, and lemon juice in a food processor or blender. Puree until smooth. Pause and scrape down the sides as needed.
  2. Slowly pour in the sparkling water and processes until incorporated. Add more water as needed for the perfect texture. Add in the everything bagel seasoning and process one more time until combined. Taste and season with sea salt or more lemon juice, as needed.
  3. Place the hummus in a serving bowl. Top with a drizzle of of olive oil (optional) and more everything bagel seasoning. 
  4. Serve with your favorite crackers and veggies for dipping and enjoy!


Notes

If you don't have sparkling water, you can use regular water. Sparkling water gives it an extra light and airy texture.

You can store homemade hummus in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
