Homemade Apple Cinnamon Granola is a crunchy fall treat that's perfect for breakfast or a snack right out of the jar!
Ingredients

- 3 cups old fashioned oats
- 3/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup dried apples
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the oats, almonds, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and sea salt. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, applesauce, coconut oil, and vanilla extract until combined. Pour over the oat mixture and stir until coated.
- Spread the mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, rotating the pan halfway, until golden brown.
- Cool completely, the granola will crisp up as it cools. Stir in the dried apples. Store in an air tight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
