- Bacon: 6 slices of bacon. I love to use applewood smoked uncured bacon, however you can use your preferred kind.
- Lettuce: Any type of crispy leaf lettuce for the best texture. I prefer either romaine or baby crispy green leaf lettuce. You could substitute for whatever greens you have on hand though, like spinach or a spring mix.
- Tomato: Ripe slicing tomatoes. Any kind will work, just be sure they are perfectly ripe! I love vine ripened tomatoes, Roma tomatoes or even heirloom tomatoes. I try to stay away from beefsteak tomatoes, as they aren't quite as flavorful.
